What is a material liability agreement?
A full material liability agreement is a formal document defining an employee's responsibility for the complete safety of property entrusted to them by the employer. It is concluded under Articles 199–200 of the Labour Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan and is required for cashiers, storekeepers, treasurers, and other employees who directly handle assets.
